Rising Blues guitarist Paulie Boy Blues has teamed up with Straton Audio to create pickups to deliver a combination of late 60's and SRV sound. These pickups will give you great tones for Blues and Rock.
Hand scatter wound 42 gauge Formvar covered copper wire is crafted around Alnico 3 magnets to provide warm and clear tones. The pickups are then lightly wax potted. The “live” bridge is specially designed to handle the edgy playing style of Paulie Boy Blues. Check out the video below to hear these pickups in action.
Output is in the 5.8k range for the neck and middle. The bridge is in the 6k range.
The middle pickup is wound RWRP for great tones when blended in the 2 and 4 positions.
The set comes with rubber tubing and screws for mounting and covers.
